In 2025, three Canadian artists—Fish in a Birdcage, Shayfer James, and Sparkbird—collaborated on a song called Certain Birds. The three artists span across the vastness of the folk genre and bring their own touches of alternative, dark cabaret, and indie pop.
In this celebratory collector's edition box set, each artist is features on an album of their most popular songs. Sparkbird's album includes Certain Birds as the final song. In addition to the CDs and lyric books, there is a specialty bird informational booklet, inspired by Sparkbird's style of naming birds within their songs.
